Selanjutnya adalah jenis alat tenun dengan menggunakan teknologi mesin atau sering disingkat ATM. Alat tenun jenis ini biasanya terdapat pada perusahaan tekstil skala besar. Alat tenun mesin dirancang dengan teknologi canggih rapier. Penggunaan ATM ini lebih efisien waktu dan tenaga.

Hanya dengan sekali proses, mesin ini dapat menghasilkan bermeter-meter kain tenun. Alat tenun mesin ini memiliki bentuk yang besar, yang mana dapat menghasilkan kain tenun yang lebih panjang dan lebar.

Pengoperasiannya masih menggunakan tenaga manusia, namun hanya untuk memantau proses penenunan mesin dengan menekan beberapa tombol otomatis. Berbeda dengan ATBM yang masih menggunakan pengrajin untuk menenun kainnya. Kain tenun yang dihasilkan dengan menggunakan mesin ini lebih halus dan teratur.
